Second Ending: Beethoven and Ishizaki

Making his conducting debut, New York City native Ian Carleton Schaefer leads the Second Ending ensemble in works that explore the full spectrum and depth of the human condition.  Beethoven's iconic and masterful Seventh Symphony will be paired with Juilliard rising star composer, Hannah Ishizaki's world premiere, "Odori," performed by some of the most talented musicians in New York City, including artists from the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, The Juilliard School and the NY Youth Symphony.

A pre-concert discussion with the artists, moderated by WQXR’s Elliott Forrest will take place at 7 pm. 

Program will be performed without intermission.
